The Environmental Sustainability Leadership Symposium (ESLS) is a 3-day workshop organized by MyCJN. ESLS serves as a peer education platform to empower young people by providing them with the necessary tools to become independent sustainability leaders and change agents. The symposium also connects Malaysian youths to a global network of empowered climate advocates who will facilitate the effective synergy and coalition of various chapters of youth climate change movements.
Some of key aspects the workshop include:
- Analysis of the big picture. An understanding of the theories of change.
- Campaign and project tools and development strategies for participants to run their own activities and networks.
- Personal and interpersonal development skills
- Working in groups and consensus building.
